新年换新树egrets change their roost tree

正月十五，我们又去欣赏白鹭返家的美景，顺便赏月。
以往几次，白鹭都选择在那棵枯树上休息，但昨天他们换了主意。
刚开始，大部分白鹭选择老家，少数几只白鹭停落在东边一棵枝繁叶茂的大树上。突然间，十来只白鹭飞了起来，在湖面上盘旋了一周，然后落在新家上。随后枯树上的白鹭陆陆续续飞向了新家。最后，大部分白鹭选择了新家。看来白鹭运用民主的手段作出了最终决定。

We went to the same location to observe the behavior of egrets several times, and it shows egrets like the tree showed on the last post.
However, this evening we found that these group of egrets changed their mind. The stay in a new tree, which is around 15 meters east from the old one and full of gree leaves.
Around 5pm, there are only around 5 egrets on the old tree;
Around 6pm, around 10 egrets back. Three of them landed on the new tree, and others to the old one;
Around 6:30pm, more egrets went back and it seems they prefer choosing the old tree. So there are more egrets on the old tree and less in the new tree.
Suddenly, some egrets took off from the old tree and fly to the new one. This process continued until most of the members fly to the new tree.
I think it is the democracy of the egrets and all egrets voted for their roosting site.
