双溪布洛红树林探幽报名

一月双溪布洛华语导游Mandarin guide walk@SBWR,December(XV)

这次活动相信是这一年多来最成功的一次，大约有十六个游客朋友，我们俩一个负责讲解，一个负责搜寻有趣的动植物，大家之间的互动非常好。天公也作美，没有落下一滴雨，反而是海风阵阵。在观鸟亭看了不少白鹭和滨鸟；在访客中心的水池旁看到了两只水獭，还有泽巨蜥；进入红树林的时候，正值退潮时分，红树林独特的根系，以及泥滩上螃蟹，弹涂鱼，马蹄蟹，甚至蛇都露脸了。有些幸运的朋友还看到了湾鳄。

雨后裕廊湖观鸟bird watching @ Jurong Lake

我很喜欢下雨的时候前去星和园观鸟，在那个小小的荷花池，总可以近距离地观看一些很漂亮的鸟儿：苍鹭，紫鹭，犀鸟，翠鸟等等。上周日，在同一个树枝上，我又找到了鹳嘴翠鸟stork-billed kingfisher，后来又飞来一只。

It is the rain season in Singapore and another rainy Sunday afternoon. I visited Jurong Lake again and was so excited that there was one stork-billed kingfisher (Pelargopsis capensis ) staying on the same branch near the loctus pond in Japanese garden. Later, another stork-billed kingfisher appeared.
